Yummy-licious Moist Chocolate Cake!

*drools*

The best Moist Chocolate Cake I have ever tried!
I'm not really a big big fan of chocolate-ty stuff. But I decided to give this cake a try, just to see how it will turn out. And it's fantastic!!!

Adapted the recipe from here. Thanks to Quinn!
I personally think that steamed moist chocolate cake is much more moist compare to the baked moist chocolate cake. But I can't be sure since I never bake any moist chocolate cake before and I don't think I would want to try it as this turns out really really well!

It's really dark. All the pictures here are posted just with the "stamp" on it, WITHOUT ANY OTHER ADJUSTMENTS!! And yeshhhh, the topping is really that shiny! *I love my camera and my cakeeeee!!*

My cake..after cooled down from steaming..it's already that dark before any other topping! It's not any of those sweet sweet chocolate cakes that you have outside on bakery!! Close up shot of my dearest cake..*Yumm yummmm*

Purposely went and bought the vanilla ice-cream just for this.
Imagine the icy cold vanilla ice-cream, the warm chocolate-ty topping and the super moist chocolate cake.....^^

I still have some moist cake left in my fridge. XP

Can't wait to get back home n try it now!

Elloooo!
Just some jokes between us, in MOX EES office.
There is a white board there. So, it become our "conteng board". Haha.

As you guys can see from the board, top part of it is the calendar for Tan. His period of internship is 6 months. In the calendar is his down counting for one month. We continued after him..for UPM trainees. XP

The "conteng" in red below the table is Tan's. The black is by Shee Wee. hehe.

Add on "conteng" from me is two cups of 100 Yen ice! Still miss it a lot now!! *Yumm Yummm*

The last last one, I guess nobody have seen it before. The blue- coloured wordings on the right is from Tan, before he left. *Ahem* Before he left MOX. And the extreme huge wordings is from Chan.
Just posting this for fun.

Tan's Trainee Farewell

Friday, June 25, 2010

Hi!
Besides MOX, we, the MOX trainees, also planned a farewell for Tan! Our Tai Kor!
Met him and his gf in Sunway Pyramid. All four of us went there straight after we came back from On Semiconductor. All busuk- busuk.

They chose this restaurant, Canton Bay. Because they got student price, 30%!! XP
No pictures on dishes also. We were hungry lah! Enjoyed the food a lot. Not to forget also to chat all night long.
We wanted to go for some japanese ice-cream after that for desserts but it's already closed. T.T
Remember it next time!

We were separated from there and Yi Peng wanted to get some supper for his gf. Hence, we went to J.Co Donuts. And very coincidently, we met Tan n his gf there. LOL. And this gave him the chance to buy us half dozen of J. Co donuts. We tried to hide from him, in order not to get him to buy us that. Ended up, we had to take the donuts anyway.

Group picture after receiving the donuts from Tan. Picture taken by his gf. Should have took a picture with his gf in also! Ish..Wasted.

J.Co Donuts, courtesy of Tan. It was our breakfast on the next day. Me, was instructed by Chan to cut them into four parts each. =.= Had it in Yi Peng's car on our way to On Semi.
=)

It's yummy!! Thanks, Tan!

Tan's MOX Farewell

Wednesday, June 23, 2010

Date: 27/05/2010
Lunch hours
One of the Thai Restaurant in Kota Kemuning

Ermm..extension from last time's farewell post.
Electronic Engineering Service of MOX- Linde spend Tan on his farewell. A Thai Restaurant in Kota Kemuning. Shae chose the place. =D

No photos on the dishes. Because everyone is very hungry already that time. Haha. A lot of dishes *under Boss's account* XP. Can't remember already. It's delicious!

Tom Yam Soup. It's already prepared like this to serve. But the Tom Yam soup is not spicy and sour enough. But when we went there the next time, again, for the Orientation of Ms. Foong and Sze Ying, the Tom Yam Soup tasted much more better, since Papati asked for more spicy and sour! Yumm yummm...

Again, our one and only group photo in MOX EES office. Picture taken by Shae. Gona miss this office later! Me now finishing in less than 7 days!

Oh ya, this photo is for Tan. Nahhh, this is the new storeroom picture! Completed with air- cond o! Very cooling~

Counting down to my days to leave! 7~

mood-less

stupid laptop
stupid me

aihz..my folder on my internship for the past 2 months is now gone. thanks to the stupid me which format my lappy AND forget to backup the file. It's already well compiled! I just need to copy and paste it to the other partition. All these I only realised after I'm installing the new copy of Window 7 on my lappy. Been trying to recover the files *Thanks a lot, Au Yong and Wei Shiang* but it's no hope. I didn't manage to recover it.

The AutoCAD drawing which I spend weeks to draw...gone.
The parts of reports I have done...gone.
The documentations that I did for MOX...gone.
The photos from my HP (under Bluetooth Exchange Folder)...gone.
Aihz.

And why do I want to format my lappy so urgently?
I don't know what's wrong..there is this typing problem I have, sometimes. When I type an alphabet, it comes out with other alphabets...and my speaker will turn mute automatically without me touching any keys on keyboard.

Format should settle that. But it didn't!!!!
Wasted my effort to format and it cost my folder...T.T
I m still trying to figure out what is wrong with my lappy...

Some Updates on Internship!

Friday, June 18, 2010

It has already been a week plus. Traveled to On Semiconductor, Senawang everyday and came back on the same day at night. Aihz. Even worked on last Saturday (12/06).

Me got burnt. So so dark now. T.T
Been repeating the same job everyday, but sometimes you can say that it's better though, at least I got something to do. Rather than just sitting in the office.

The contractor pass for us to be in On Semiconductor. Since this project only requires us to be on ceiling, yesh, ceiling of the building, we didn't get to go into the clean room much. *Will explain on what is clean room later.*

Do you see the door there? Yeah, that's the entrance to the ceiling. To our workplace! It's narrow, have to climb in and out. Sometimes, I will be sitting inside, on top of those giant pipes..since it's air-conditioned inside pr half in and half out. Or else, see the black staircase on the left? I will be sitting there. It's quite 'cho teng' if I sit inside when there are a lot of contractors (not just our people) going in and out to do their stuff.

This is the top view, when I climbed up the black staircase just now. To get some fresh air. Lots of huge exhaust! The sky is very blue, when the weather is good. There is hardly any trees near that area. So, imagine if the sun is blazing, (=.=) it will be super duper hot and it burns!! That's when the contractors working outside of ceiling, near the container that area. I forgot to snap pictures there.

At least, the project has come to an end (just for us, not for MOX). We just have to follow up till that extent. I guess air-cond is still better? I don't know.

And before we followed on the project, Yap, the project supervisor brought us there to visit. Just to have a look around that area. Have a look around the clean room! Clean room is a closed area where the particles in the room is reduced to certain levels/ grades. It's used mostly for manufacturing wafer for semiconductors. =)

Imagine how glad and excited we are when we are allowed to try out something new that time. That time ya. Be able to try out the bunny suit/ jump suit. Okie, it just fully cover your body from top to toe. With a lot of additional clothing. Very troublesome, if you ask me.

I bet anyone can recognize me in that bunny suit. Everyone in clean room walks around in these, I have no idea how can they recognize each other. *scratches* Notice that I'm already that dark that time, before got burnt? It's worse now....T.T

Left four of us now. Those in the picture. Ah Tan took this picture, he is not as excited as us since he went to clean room before already. Ermm, we are not allowed to have handphones or camera in clean room, so this photo is took secretly....*Shhhhhh*

The happy three of us! The size of the bunny suit is really big. Not easy to find suitable ones since it's limited for contractors. Those permanent workers have their own bunny suits. No water, no food..nothing in clean room. Not even normal A4 paper or pencil. Only clean room paper and pens. It's THAT clean!

Oh, curry kuay tiau! Had it in one of the shops in Senawang for lunch. We had mistook it for the best curry mee around that area. =.= Got the wrong recommendation from the others. Didn't know till that day. It's supposed to be another shop. Anyway, it's edible and the portion is quite big too! ^^

No chance to try the real good curry mee already I think. Don't know still got chance to go to Senawang or not. Better not go, or better go?
Me myself don't know.

Taa-Daaah!

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

Hi! Sorry for the slow updates..
Don't really have the mood to blog. T.T
Btw, have a look on my Strawberry Yogurt Tart cum Peaches!

It's supposed to be topped up with fresh strawberries but I don't have any in hand and kind of lazy to buy. The peaches are the leftover canned peaches I bought last time for my Chilled Lemon Cheesecake.

Oh, I didn't blog about my Chilled Lemon Cheesecake here. Made it during my 3-days off during Wesak Public Hols weekend. It didn't turn out to be well, just okie. I messed up with the gelatine portion a bit and the cheesecake didn't settle properly. Turned out be something like cheese mousse filling on crust bake with jelly and peaches topping. Didn't take any of its pictures of it also. But it was still delicious and yummy to serve on such hot weather!!
I would like to try it again. Hmm, but I think it will be some time later. Not so soon because my family don't really eat cheesecakes. Anyone want to try? XP
And, my tart!! It's absolutely yummy! *Drools* Again, another cold dessert! Sorry lah, weather has been pretty hot these days.

It's really simple to make! Here is the recipe. Credits to Wendy!
Since I messed up with my gelatine last time, I m trying it again this time. With this no- bake tart. I did a lot of reading n 'research' online before I'm handling it again. Finally, I managed to get the best way to handle it and yeah, the No- Bake Strawberry Yogurt Tart turns out really well!

With the jelly-like yogurt filling and the peaches on top, it's irresistible!

P/S: The red- coloured thingy on the left side of the filling is actually strawberry from the yogurt I use!

XP
