Anime Addiction~

Saturday, June 07, 2008

Addicted to a few animes recently.
Watch those days n nights. (unless i'm working though)
Introducing one ere today.
Presenting....

*drum rolls*

うえきの法則
Law of Ueki

Well, a friend of mine recommended it to me when i was disturbing him "kao kao" due to boredom during the holidays. U know who u r =P

N u really got me addicted to it.

Summarizing it here.
The whole story is kind of non-reality based.
I don't think that it can really happen in the world i'm living in though.

This story is mainly about the battle between all the power users. Which later the winner will be awarded with a "null zai". A "zai" is actually a skill that a human or u can have. With the "null zai", u can actually obtain any skill that u wish!

Student of Hinokuni Junior High School, Ueki Kousuke fought in the battle along with his team with the unique power he possessed from his God Candidate, Kobayashi.

"The power to turn rubbish into trees"

Quite a weird one huh?
This anime is humorous. To me at least.
And all the moral values that are hidden in the storyline.
A very big hug to the sensei, Tsubasa Fukuchi!
I m not going deep into the moral values of course. *U ppl will start to yawn*

A more detailed summary can be obtained here.

Did i somehow lift ur interest on this anime?
No? =.=
I'm such a failure then.

T_T

Finally,
someone is somehow a tiny lil bit interested?

Since it's licensed.

books?

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

Yeahh..
Since I'm on sem break now, I picked up my old hobby:

Reading books especially fictions

Currently I'm on this book that I've bought before my finals, which is a few months ago.

Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger

(p/s: This is not the edition I bought, posting it up since I still didn't manage to find my edition) *sobs*

I'm still in process of reading it now.

To all the readers, this is the book where you can really enter the World of Nightlife.
Which includes clubbing, partying and any night activities that you can name.
It's perfectly described with every single detail that anyone of you would like to know about..ermm..socializing at night?

It's cool to read this book.
But the vocab of this book is actually above my level of understanding.
So, I do have difficulties sometimes in order to understand what the author is trying to express. T_T
*I'll b needing my dictionary*

Anyway, I can't wait for the BookFest 2008.

Event's Name: BookFest@Malaysia 2008
Date: 24 May - 1 June 2008
Venue: Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)

I'll need to save up some money~
To grab all the books that I want~
Most importantly these two:

P.S. I Love You by Cecelia Ahern

I know this book has been the bestseller for quite some time.
I just don't have the chance to read it yet though.
Hopefully this time I'll be able to own it!
Or by chance anyone own this book and is willing to borrow it to me?*plss*

Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella

I'm a big fan of Sophie Kinsella.
From her Shopaholic series till her latest book: Remember Me?
They don't have paperbag for this book yet since it is released just a few months ago.
That's why I'm still waiting because the hardcover ones actually cost RM 70++ *=.=*
All books written by Sophie Kinsella are strongly recommended by me!

Or..anyone got better fictions to recommend?
=D

genting trip 2008

Friday, April 25, 2008

Date: 17, 18 April 2008
Location: Genting Highlands
Thx to MOST of my coursemates (since 3 of them can't make it)
(Names listed are not in any specific order)

Willie (specially thanks to the organizer)
Yang
Kai
Kent
Yi Peng
Chect Hao
Wai Sin
Zhi Jie

Say Chin
Chai Har
Yun Lee
Sim
Pei Kay
Ke Wei
Kelly
Jing Jing

It actually rains when we just entered Genting Outdoor Theme Park for less than 2 hours I think. And it rains quite heavily, most of them were wet by the time we went n had our lunch in First World Plaza. Luckily we managed to get back into to the Outdoor Theme Park later.

Since there weren't many ppl thr, we actually played all the thrilled rides in around 4 hours' time~~Not to mention that we enjoyed some of the rides twice..haha

Plans were also on in the night, where we crazily enjoyed the thrilled indoor rides. Countless Euro Express rides, twice on the Adult Bumper Cars and also Motion Master to kill time.

In our room in First World Hotel, the whole lot of us enjoyed playing the "Doctor, Angel n Killer" game. It's some sort of leadership game. Anyone played that before? The game went on and on till around 2am plus in the morning, where this is the time for suprise party~~

Yea, somehow we managed to get a cake in Genting Highlands at an affordable price, thanks to Kent. It's the Blueberry cake from Starbucks~ 10 pieces of the slices I meant. We are celebrating for

Willie (20th of April)
Chai Har (14th of May)
Yi Peng (15th of May)
Say Chin (25th of May)

We celebrated very early for some of them since we will be on sem break later on. Everyone enjoyed eating the cake and also drinking all the soft drinks the guys brought up to Genting.

Honestly, most of us were lifeless and sleepy by the time everthing nearly ended. It's due to our very packed schedule before we come to Genting on the 17th. We were having two heavy papers on the 14th and 16th. Most of them didn't get enough sleep during that period of time. Not to forget that a few of us went to Sungai Wang after our paper on the 16th to enjoy. =D We only reached college at around 11pm plus that night while we are supposed to pack our stuff and depart at around 6.00am I think the next day.

Most of us went to sleep while a few of them who were still energetic, went to have a night-walk outside. Nothing much on the next day. After lunch, we headed to the cable car station to get our ride n went back.

Me n my coursemates went separate ways when we reached KL Central since I will be heading home while they will be heading back to UPM.

If u all do notice that, yeaa, all of us haven't finish our finals when we went for this trip. hehe
But most of them left an English Language Paper on the 20th while the 4 of us (Ke Wei, Jing Jing, Kelly n me) will be only having our Principles of Economic on the 24th. So, we decided to enjoy first~~haha

Anyway, thanks to everyone that come along for this trip. This is our first trip k!! Well, more to come in the next 3 years..hehe. U ppl enjoyed the trip rit?

If any of u (my coursemates of course) managed to come across to my blog, leave a msg =)
or any enquiries bout the edited photos can be made straight to me..hehe.
But it's LIMITED to my coursemates only.. =P

Enjoy the photos~

y don't u all help me to rate whether it is true anot?

=P

...
You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.
You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.
A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in.
You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising.
You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.
You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.
People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.
You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.
You don't always resist your urges to crush the weak. Just remember, they don't have as much going for them as you do.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.
